TIPI HOLIDAYS IN FRANCE
Around the site, all lighting is powered by solar energy or candles, environmentally friendly, biodegradable cleaning and toiletry products are available free of charge, other products are sourced as locally as possible. All kitchen waste is composted and used on site.
We also have a few animals which the children enjoy. 'Hansel and Gretel', our sheep will welcome you when you arrive and every morning, we also have chickens and so are able to offer free-range eggs. We do have for sale other local / home produce, and offer a bread collection service every morning.
Here at Tipi Holidays in France, we are committed to a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach to holidays. Being environmentally friendly does not take away the comfort and pleasure from your holiday experience, in fact it should enhance it by allowing visitors to feel they are making a positive contribution to the health of the planet by taking a few small steps. The campsite is managed to be sensitive to the needs of flora and fauna, a balance is maintained between the need to provide essential natural habitats and comfort, space and tranquillity for those staying with us.
We have a maximum of 6 tipis, which allows our guests to retain their privacy and permits us to offer an excellent level of service. We also provide a table d'hote (evening meal) a few nights per week, where everyone on site gets together to unwind, discuss their plans and enjoy a home-cooked meal. Many of our guests have said that this was the finishing touch to a relaxing holiday.
