TIPI HOLIDAYS IN FRANCE
Our woodland retreat is located within the heart of the Creuse. The local area is home to an abundance of wildlife, including red squirrels, pine martins, deer and various species of birds of prey. Take a stroll along our meandering footpath to see what you can discover or hear, and then why not just relax in a hammock.
At night the sky is breathtaking, due to the lack of light pollution the Milky Way is easily visible to the naked eye. There is a telescope on site for those budding astronomers. On the 12th - 14th August every year there is a meteor shower which everyone says is amazing.
Each tipi is placed within its own individual setting within the woodland offering seclusion and privacy but minutes away from campsite facilities. Each tipi can comfortably accommodate a family of four. The tipis are on a raised platform for extra comfort and are tastefully furnished. Bedding is provided for 2 adults and 2 children (guests are requested to bring their own towels). If you want more people to stay in each tipi, then please contact us in advance. Our tipis are now fitted with rain caps, the removal of the osan means you can enjoy the full majesty of the tipi whilst still remaining dry in inclement weather.
On site, we have a 'salle de reunion' where we serve breakfast and other meals, there are separate male and female toilets and showers, and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, cool boxes, crockery, utensils, etc. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis.
